ART THERAPIST - Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless is seeking an Art Therapist to hold closed art therapy sessions, provide behavioral health interventions, work in open studio, assist with art show installations. REQ: MA, New Mexico LPAT license and 2 years related experience. Must have excellent knowledge of mental health, substance use, and dual diagnosis. Weekend and flexible hours required with a valid NM driver’s license. Bilingual preferred.
CLIENT ADVOCATE - Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless is looking for a Client Advocate to identify and refer clients to resources, staff drop in center, transport clients, assist Case Managers, shop and stock supplies. REQ: High School or GED, valid NM driver’s license and clean driving record, and 2 years social services experience. Must have the ability to work in a team setting as well as independently with good computer skills. Bilingual preferred.
CUSTODIAN/MAINTENANCE HELPERS - Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless is looking for contract custodians and/or maintenance helpers to work as fill in for vacations and sick time. Requires general knowledge of janitorial supplies, equipment and minor maintenance. Must be dependable and have at least 1 year janitorial/maintenance experience.
PRIMARY CARE MANAGER - Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless is seeking a Primary Care Manager to oversee operations of busy primary care/behavioral health clinic. Responsibilities include monitoring budgets, writing reports to funders, managing and analyzing data, supervise front desks and overseeing clinic systems. REQ: BA or equivalent experience, with 3 years supervisory experience. Must have experience with EMR, data analysis, budgeting and reporting. Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Experience working with homeless or underserved populations preferred.
REGISTERED NURSE - Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform triage and nursing care in our primary/urgent care medical clinic and to provide addiction treatment services for people released from incarceration who are homeless. REQ: New Mexico RN license, valid NM driver’s license. Bilingual and experience with buprenorphine preferred.
