MEDICAL RECORDS CLERK

CASE MANAGER – Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless is seeking a Case Manager to provide case management, resources and referrals to people experiencing homelessness. Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, conduct home visits, case notes and transport clients. REQ: BA in social services and 2 years experience working with underserved populations. Working knowledge of EHR. Experience with CMI and DSM-IV. Must have a valid NM driver’s license. Bilingual preferred.
CUSTODIAN/MAINTENANCE HELPERS – Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless is looking for on-call custodians and/or maintenance helpers to work as fill in for vacations and sick time. Requires general knowledge of janitorial supplies, equipment and minor maintenance. Must be dependable and have at least 1 year janitorial/maintenance experience.
MEDICAL ASSISTANT/LAB TECHNICIAN – Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless is seeking a Medical Assistant/Lab Specialist for our primary care/mental health clinic. Responsibilities include performing all lab procedures, ordering/tracking and data entry of same as well as providing MA support to providers and outreaches. REQ: MA program graduate, 2 years as a Medical Assistant with extensive lab experience. Must have EMR, excellent customer service and sensitivity to underserved populations. Experience with mental health/substance abuse as well as bilingual preferred.
MEDICAL RECORDS CLERK – Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless is seeking a Medical Records Clerk to review, retrieve and release medical records according to regulations. Requires AA in Health Information or related field and 2 years experience in medical records and electronic health records; thorough knowledge of HIPAA and privacy laws. Must be detail oriented.
NURSE PRACTITIONER – Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide direct service in our busy primary care clinic. Requires MSN, current, valid NM NP license with prescription privileges and experience working with indigent and/or homeless populations. This position is eligible for the student loan repayment program.
THERAPIST – Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless is seeking a Therapist to provide individual/group therapy, clinical assessments, crisis intervention and outreach to people experiencing homelessness. Requires Master’s degree in counseling or social work or related field, NM licensure (LISW), minimum 1 year clinical experience with SA/MH. Knowledge of evidence-based approaches and psychotropic medications. Experience with underserved populations and bilingual preferred. This position is eligible for benefits.
