Health Care for the Homeless programs including AHCH are stepping up infection control, assessing workflows, and establishing protocols that govern the care of people experiencing homelessness. AHCH is well-poised to continue providing high-quality care and continue to meet our mission during this time.
New Mexico Department of Health recommends the following to prevent the spread of germs:
◾️ Wash hands with soap and warm water for 20 seconds or more
◾️ Dry your hands with a clean towel
◾️ Use hand sanitizer after every activity where hands get dirty
◾️ Cover your cough/sneezes and throw the napkins away safely
◾️ Stay home if you are sick
◾️ Clean and disinfect
